Great tutoring begins with great educators.
Inspirica traces its roots to 1983. Today, its community of tutors, mentors, and admissions counselors supports students from kindergarten through graduate school in academic work, test preparation, enrichment, and college planning. The starting point remains the individual student.
A guild of career educators
The guild idea is a community of experienced professionals with a shared craft, high standards, and a commitment to learning from one another. For a family, the relevant question is personal: who understands this work, and how will they approach it with this student?
Two histories. One community.
1983. The one-to-one tutoring organization founded by Lisa Jacobson begins the history described in Inspirica’s story.
2010. Experienced tutors join forces with John Katzman around the idea of a professional guild.
2023. The two organizations merge into one community of educators.
Our goals have changed over the years, often from month to month, but Kalen is still a vital part of Max’s education. Kalen is a truly talented educator. She has been our son’s mentor and cheerleader.
